I have not worked with many lawyers but I can tell you this, they fall far from what I would consider as good*. 3 plus years of working with them and they still can't seem to call or email you back, and if they do it's quite possibly weeks or even a months later. The people who work for him have limited knowledge of what they are talking about, and not only that they are very rude and condescending. More importantly when you wish to talk with YOUR LAWYER (Eric Jones) about important things only HE can answer they never seem to want to send you too him (or they send you to his voicemail only to never be called back). I have talked with Eric a total of 3 times in 3 years, I would not call that acceptable by any means. I don't call a doctor's office to talk with their receptionist about my problem in detail, I talk with the Doctor, I would expect the same with my lawyer. So please, do yourself a favor, if you want to know about your case and want updates in a timely manner as well as courteous staff who can answer your questions...well then go somewhere else because you won't find it here.

My father used this law office to assist with getting SSI benefits. They came highly recommended from a friend who had gone through this experience so he was hopeful it would be a good experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Social Security takes a long time to get approved for, and my father was prepared for this. What he was not prepared for was the lawyer never contacting him, when he would call in for information, the person assigned to his case always was "out of the office" even if my dad immediately called back if he missed their call. Instead of them filing to pull his medical records, he was made to run around town collecting them. He updated them every single time he was hospitalized or had a procedure done, and one of the times he was turned down was because the lawyer did not provide documentation that my dad had given to them. He found out he was approved himself after calling the lawyer again and the person who answered the phone letting him know he was approved almost a month ago. He then found out the lawyer never gave social security his new address and so he would not have found out if he hadn't have called. Even now, he still has not heard from anyone in this office regarding his case. At no point has he even had the opportunity to soeak with the lawyerl Eric Jones, about this either. Or any lawyer with the group, only paralegals and secretaries. I am extremely disappointed in this office for their mishandling of this case and their poor customer service skills. I understand that this market means that lawyers have a lot of cases, but if they cannot handle them, they shouldn't take them on. I wish my father was able to deduct the time and money and gas he wasted doing their jobs. He is struggling with heart issues and money issues because of it already, this just added unnecessary stress to his life. My father has a lot of friends that will be soon applying for social security and instead of gaining a customer that would provide recommendations, he will be telling people to look elsewhere for assistance.

I would like to add that recently, my dad's close friend posted about this issue on here. Not only did Jones Law Group respond without integrity, they outright lied. They lied and said my father changed his number and had no way to get ahold of him. They also lied and said my father moved without telling them. He notified them immediately when he moved, and he continued to provide medical information after he moved so he was still in contact with them. My father has had the same number for more than 5 years and the entire length of the case he has had the same number. They also are forgetting that again, one of his appeals was denied because the court said they were missing any medical documentation when my father had provided that DIRECTLY TO THEM. They may say they did not ask my dad to get the documents himself, but one of their paralegals definitely did and instead of blaming the person who is making the complaint, maybe they should look internally at who they are hiring. It is ridiculous that they try to make my father, who they screwed over, look like a liar. They even responded to this post on google and called it unsettling and tried to say they helped so much by making it happen fast. They didn't make it happen, the fact that my dad's health is so poor made it happen. They are lying, deceitful and just plain wrong. The fact that they couldn't even own their mistakes shows their true character and lack of integrity and accountability. I am just flabbergasted at this point that a law office that is there to help people who need social security would behave and operate this way. I hope you guys are ashamed of yourself and I promise I will continue to leave bad reviews in any platform that allows so no one else's loved one has to experience this.

They are far from being helpful instead They were rude . Further more They collaborate with the government to collect debt and Pays pennies on dollars and make the big bucks on the poor guys. Which I think is totally wrong if the government don’t care about your dept anymore u should not be chased by 3rd party to suck what left off ur blood.

We used Jones Law Group with the highest level of disappointment! When filing for an appeal of denial in SSI, they had medical release forms to be signed. This gives them all rights to pull or collect any and all medical records. Liz (contact for the case) never returned calls or answered any messages left. We the client had to go collect all medical records and deliver them to Jones LG office due to their lack of responsibilities! Recently found out the appeal was approved in August. No letters or phones letting their client know this new information. Beginning of October their client calls into the office for a follow up of any updates to be informed the case was approved and no one knew who was assigned to the case. As imagined the frustration was high! They received a payment for work they did not do! This office has poor communication and Mr. Jones never met his client to find out his needs nor listen to the updates given regarding the surgery, hospital stays, and the upcoming surgeries planned. I would not recommend this office to represent you! Please look around for another law office that has integrity and compassion for their clients.

A special thank you to Jones Law Group attorneys Kevin Larrimer and Nick Kolitsos for helping me with my STRS disability claim. They are both very competent and well versed in Ohio STRS disability law and were able to succeed in my claim where I was unable on my own. I want to believe that STRS looks out fully for their members but ultimately they are responsible to the system. If you are a teacher and need representation for a disability claim, I don't recommend you go it alone. These guys at Jones Law Group can be very helpful.

This is a very rude and unprofessional practice, they have no manners and think it’s okay to hang up on people. I know that they are debt collectors and I should not expect much but they are the bottom of the bottom feeders. I spoke with 3 employees and all were rude and disrespectful. The uneducated female was the worst, she should not be allowed to answer the phone. If anyone is thinking of using this practice for anything...... FORGET IT THEY ARE PATHETIC.

The food is always fresh and hot

So far my experience has been pretty dismal. I can relate to the other comments about not returning phone calls because every time I have called to speak to my attorney or one of the people assigned to my case, I'm always told they're not answering their phone and to leave a message. After leaving messages, I never get a return call. I've filed an appeal for denial of disability benefits and have been awaiting a hearing since last year. It would be nice to get an occasional update on the status of my case, but I always have to log into my SS account to find out what stage of the process it's in. If I didn't feel like it's too late in the game now, I would definitely find another law office to handle my case. So, if you're considering using Jones Law Group, DON'T!!

Had a pretty bad fall in a major grocery store. The attorney all of the sudden stopped answering my calls and responding after I signed e docs to be represented by his firm. I've called 8 times and received no assistance. He however has been in contact with the store.

Eric Jones is the most compassionate, hard working and decent attorney I have encountered. While appreciating the gravity of my situation and the detrimental effect it could have on my professional life, he exuded calm authority. I vetted other "more experienced" lawyers claiming to specialize in healthcare. They were completely unaware of the statutes surrounding my case and did not bother to research my specific issue before providing me with recommendations that would have ultimately cost me thousands of dollars, months of wasted time and severe emotional duress.

They were a tremendous help to me getting my life back on track

Received a call from there number I guess, after multiple moves. And today's scams, I refused to talk to anyone with out a bill in front of me. Guess it was from 2014, told the gentleman to update address and send verification of debt owed. He refused and hung up. Next a letter certified to this office. Once they refuse to show me a bill, won't receive a dime. They truly didn't like it that they were recorded..

The guy who called me was an inconsiderate jerk! He resorted to intimidation techniques when I requested to talk to my insurance company about some medical debt they should have covered years ago. Not making a good name for yourselves.

I spent several years working with Rob on a difficult case and I believe I couldn't have chosen any better attorney. I have never been treated so horribly in my life. Money was taken out of my account without my permission and when I called to ask why I was told it didn't happen.
