I had a very good experience working with Nick Rosenbauer on my Living Will and Trust. He was very thorough, careful, and open to my feelings and judgement. He would add or suggest different things and might caution me about something but would always leave the final decision up to me. His advice was helpful and I am thankful that we can review the document in the future to make sure that any changes in my situation or relationships are taken into account.

A little background. We created a Trust 7 years ago working with a large, well-respected, downtown law firm. The whole process was very impersonal and we ended up with a Trust document we didn't completely understand, particularly requirements pertaining to placing assets in the Trust. As our situation had evolved we felt it prudent to update the Trust and be more involved in the process than simply filling out a standard questionnaire. We researched local attorney and thought recommendation from our bank and ended up interviewing two that specialized in Trusts. Nick took the time to explain the complete process, that it would require work on our part to insure our assets were titled correctly and specifics we had concerning grandchildren were carefully and explicitly covered in the Trust as well as the costs. We wanted to make things as clear and easy for our successor trustees to handle and an attorney that would be there to help them identify what was required. Nick's process was very thorough and insured that we understood all aspects of the Trust and related documents including a very organized Trust book with an introduction that outlined each section in plan English. We recently reviewed the Trust with our children and the book made it very clear and easy how the Trust was structured and their responsibilities. Nick, clearly exceeded our expectations.
