DO NOT USE BOB ARNOLD FOR CUSTODY HEARINGS!

Bob was disengaged from the moment I met him. He was worried about collecting funds, assuring me that our case would at least drag out to 10+ hours due to the opposing attorney. I would report happenings and findings to Bob, who would neglect to follow up in regards to ANYTHING.

Bob was very kind and pleasant during our initial interaction. Bob told me he was a man of God, and he even bragged on the fact that he will never charge for any billing discrepancy conversation. He didn’t mention everything he WOULD charge for. His word goes out the window quite quick because while our inaugural meeting lasted 1hr 10min, I was certain I would only be billed for the hour. NEGATIVE. Bob actually billed me at 90 mins!

Bob also ensured me that his paralegals would tend to work when available. It would allow me to pay less for the same work. He would only handle the heavier tasks. With this case he tallied 14.2 hours, his paras totaled 10.5. Much of the work he allegedly performed could have been handled by a paralegal. And the work that the paralegals were performing (for instance, copying and pasting my answers to a preformatted template) took longer to accomplish than my original typing of the document. My answers barely changed whatsoever.

The total number of hours were off by a ridiculous amount of time on the final statement as well. Not only was the final statement never delivered, but I had to actually request it. That was months after finishing the mediation. Bob had already taken thousands from me, and he didn’t care if we never spoke again. He knew that I provided all of the hardwork in my case. He even stated it to me in our last meeting. He told me that I had won my case, and we could not have yielded a better outcome without my involvement.

Clearly, I’d have to be involved to some degree as it’s my case. But I spent a lot of hours keeping receipts, keeping tabs, tracking overnights, reading parenting guidelines, and creating a concise pre-mediation plan. All of the verbiage used was in my own words, the agreements made we construed by myself, and everything short of being called a “lawyer” was provided through myself. Mr. Arnold only haphazardly acted as a guide to point me in the right direction.

And that’s a good thing! He couldn’t keep his attention. His face would be buried in his phone, and “hang on, I have to take this” or “just bear with me here” while he’d tap on his iPhone’s screen with his guitar pickin’ nails. He did not like being challenged or wrong.

At my mediation, he actually asked the mediator if she’d listened to an album he made! That was his concern! This all occuring while we waited in her office for my ex and her attorney to leave first because Bob nor the other attorney wanted to see one another. And you best bet that I was charged for waiting inside her office with him. Not only charged, but the amount of time the bill states we were in mediation is over by 2 hours versus reality! He would not provide me a more itemized receipt after stating he would. It took another 2 months to hear from him, and that was only because I reached out. I simply wanted what was owed to me if his figures were off.

The best way to sum up this unorganization and provide substantial evidence of his incoherence would be to post screenshots of two separate billings I’ve been sent regarding the final amount due. The first was the original I received in the spring, and the second was delivered to me in August.

Bob requested I do an evaluation on him immediately after mediation ended. That was one of his legitimate concerns. He stated in that email the things most important to him:

He’s a good listener and fought for me… No.
He didn’t compromise my goals… But he did. I had specific goals to conquer, and he’d often want to take an alternate route.
That he was honest and fair in billing and prompt in returning calls… …. ….

And now you can find this review on Avvo, Google, Yelp, and Martindale.

I just finished a divorce case with Bob. It was a very volatile case that included domestic abuse, protective order issues, and bankruptcy issues. There were a lot of difficult situations along the way, but Bob was always available to answer my questions. If he could not speak with me immediately, he would promptly return my calls and was wonderful at guiding me through every step, no matter how difficult the circumstances. His knowledge of the court system is extensive, which is unsurprising considering his experience. In court, Bob was always one step ahead of the opposing counsel, and was ready for anything. Bob and his staff were attentive and helpful, always making sure that my needs were addressed. Due to the circumstances of my marriage and divorce, I suffered from a decent amount of mental and emotional difficulty. Bob was not only an excellent legal representative, but was also a mentor, guiding me to resources and encouraging me to rise above my circumstances.

Bob helped me get thru a rather grueling divorce process. There were several issues we were trying to settle as far as custody, debt, personal property etc. being a single working mom with a demanding career bob even came to my job to meet me and help me get the process started seeing as I work from the time most offices open til well
After they close. Still to this day he is only a text away if I have any legal questions or need advise on anything. He was very affordable in comparison to most other attorneys I reached out to and was very flexible when it came to my appointments and payments. I would most def recommend Bob to anyone and if I ever needed an attorney again he would be the first one I called! Thanks Bob I appreciate you!!

I reached out to Robert Arnold during a time of family crisis recently, and he offered us quite a lot of advice for free. We weren’t sure about what he was saying so we followed up with the local public defender’s office and another lawyer from out of town. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that everything Robert gave us was absolutely correct. His advice was critical in us resolving our issue quickly and without even having to go to court. We’ll be coming back to Robert in the future anytime we have legal troubles.

Mr. Bob Arnold has handled several legal matters for me and has always done a superb job. Over the years, I’ve recommended him to several family members and friends who were in need of legal representation. Just recently he took care of a case for me involving an insurance company. He his honest, hard working, and will go out of his way to make sure he gets the job done. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Won't give any stars because he is the worst lawyer. I regret ever letting him talk me into anything and making promises and then he doesn't hold up to his end of the bargain. Please choose someone else because he will drag your case out and put you in a horrible position and not care about what his done to you. He is so terribly money hungry. I tell anyone looking for an attorney to never hire Bob Arnold. UPDATE....HIS RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW IS SOOOOOOO VERY VERY INACCUARATE. NOT A GOOD CHRISTIAN MAN AS HE DESCRIBES HIMSELF. JUST A LYING LAWYER.

I am an attorney and I have known Bob for almost thirty years having first meet him when we were both lawyers in the local chapter of the Christian Legal Society. Over the years I have had many opportunities to interact with Bob on a professional and personal basis. In every case he has conducted himself with the utmost integrity, even if it was to his detriment. In Bob I have seen, without question, the fruit of the Spirit and I know he represents his clients professionally with compassion and kindness. He is motivated to see that justice is done in every case. I highly recommend Bob if you are looking for an attorney.

I've seen and chatted with Bob at traffic courts for about 10-12 years as we both handle traffic cases as lawyers, but I had no real personal injury experience as an attorney but he did, so he helped my family out with a personal injury case mediation on short notice and helped us attain a successful result. He was really good with my widowed mother too who appreciated his assistance and understanding what she wanted to attain.

Recently, I met Mr. Arnold for the first time. I went to his office to introduce myself and discuss business. However, in my short visit with him, he took time to get to know me personally. He was personable, professional, friendly, and overall a class act. I would highly recommend him!

First of all I want it to be known that this man was NEVER my attorney, and will NEVER be for that matter. He is very unprofessional and rude. He was the defense attorney against a case where I was the victim, during the process of the case being settled, he persuaded his clients that they could win a lawsuit against me (which of course they lost and his clients were out court costs and attorney fees.) What brings me to leave this review though, is that the case was settled a few months back. A couple weeks ago I logged into my social media account only to find messages from him insisting I give him contact information about one of the former clients, baffeled I asked why and he told me just to have the former client contact him, again, I asked why. Then today he responds to my message by saying, "Are you really interfering with me contacting my client? Have him contact me. This is urgent." And gave his phone number. I'm not sure how I'm obligated to release information to, or relay messages from him to anyone. I'm just shocked as to how a "professional attorney" would act so unprofessional. Unless you want the opposite party of your case being contacted months after the case has been settled through their personal social media accounts, I wouldn't hire him. Actually if you want any positive results with your case I wouldn't suggest this man.

A total scammer. He gladly accepted my $500. retainer to represent me in a Christian Divorce action, he was listed as the Attorney of the Church. I can't imagine why they would ask him to act on their behalf. I met with him for his free consultation, spent about 1/2 hour at most. At the conclusion of our free consultation. He gave me some literature and instructed me to sign up for a divorced parent workshop required by the state. We went our separate ways, after I gave him his retainer of $500. I signed paperwork to the effect that he would represent me, papers I did not receive copies of, because he asked to meet at a Baja Restaurant, which of course there was no copy machine available. Before you go telling me I am an idiot, keep in mind, that he represents our very reputable church. I have never seen him again. I attempted to call him, text him on many many occasions. I did get him to answer my calls on two attempts, of which he sounded like he had just been woken. He did not know who I was. He said he'd have to grab my file and would get back to me. Several days went by, and I called again. I no more got out my name when he said he had another client on the phone long distance (is there still such a thing?) said he would get back to me in 15-30 minutes, I am still waiting, it has been over a year and a half. He has refused to send me an itemized bill of any kind. I will give him that he did nothing. He never again replied to any of my calls or messages.
Beware.

First let me state that I did win my lawsuit. But not because This attorney was good it was because they opposision was so horribly bad! This attorney will drag your case out as long as he can to bill you as much as he can! after I had paid him over $30,000 dollars in a custody modification he tried to bill me another $17000! and when I asked for an accounting and a copy of his employment contract (that he to this day has not produced) he sued me! Find another attorney at all cost this man is not trustworthy in my opinion.
