Cody cogswell didn't show up for my custody case sent a person he hired 3 months before my case who just passed his bar 5 days before my case. The person cody cogswell sent to represent my case knew nothing of my case no evidence, the man had to ask me if I had any witnesses for my behalf. It was embarrassing which caused emotional damage. Cody Cogswell retaliated against me by sending a fictitious bill to collections after I reported him for his unethical practice. I strongly encourage you to invest your time and money with someone else as representation.

Terrible

I hired this firm to represent me in a child support case. The person I met with for my consultation never spoke to me again after that. My case was handled instead by Josh, who was professional and seemed to know what he was doing - except only a few days before my hearing, I found out Cody would be showing up instead. Josh said he would attend court also since he was more familiar with my case, but the day of the hearing came and Josh was not there. Cody showed up 20 minutes late, which annoyed the judge and cost us time to make our case. He did not know the details of my situation when he showed up to court that day. Very unimpressed with this firm and their "services".

I have hired more than 5 different lawyers in the past 14 years and I can confidently say Cogswell and Associates are BY FAR the best out there. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, they truly care about you and your case. I would recommend them to anyone. If I ever need a lawyer again in the future I will always be calling them!!

The case that Cody worked on was my first time ever needing a lawyer. I wasn't very optimistic in the beginning but Cody delivered on the promise he made concerning my case. His staff was also easy to get in touch with.

As part of a long case with Custody with my Ex, we had to fight an appeal she had filed. Cody, and his paralegal Joe, both had previously worked for the same law firm as the attorney I had on the custody case. He recommended them very highly regarding appeals cases, in addition to normal legal needs, and having worked with Joe on that case, I had to agree with the choice.

Cody and Joe were easy to work with, and very responsive as information came in for the appeal. Joe even contacted me on the weekend to go over some things, to ensure the response was accurate and detailed.

We met with Cody and Joe before they sent our response to the appeal, and both were very candid with us, and went over all the possible outcomes.

Cody was very personable, polite, and honest.

Joe having been the paralegal on a messy post Dissolution / custody case for several years, then working on the Appeal response, was a refreshing thing.. During this time, he has drafted some of the best motions, and Findings of Facts, I have ever seen. These motions have helped win custody of my children.

I would recommend Cody, Joe, and this office for any legal needs. They have a great view of the law and nuances where needed.
