I used this Attorney office for my disability because I had heard so many good reviews. But when it came to my disability hearing the guy was running late to court date and I was sitting waiting for him when you finally showed up he had to ask for a few extra minutes so we could talk before we went in. I would not recommend to them.

I have been trying disability since the of 2012 and finally went to Hankey in 2017. (SSDI only recognizes the time you file with an attorney) Regardless they want 25% or 6k if you win the case but do nothing for it. I waited all this time and have a blood clotting disorder and on dangerous blood thinners for two years I get a long waited for hearing (oh the meeting to prep for the hearing was a joke) met the judge and had to sit over a hour that just literally pained me for them to say I could fold laundry. No job is beneath a person but I’m literally trying to live. At the end of them stating what jobs in the nation are available and nothing about my medical. The judge asks my attorney if any questions and she said no. I couldn’t believe she judged my situation as if I was a leach on society. I left and now I am denied and all of this time wasted on an attorney who didn’t want to fight for me. Waste of time and now I will start over. I needed the disability for a reason and had worked up until I had several pulmonary embolisms which one of my doctors said I’m surprised you lived. But because SSDI don’t see that way I was denied. Hankey please just be honest with people from the beginning and not just put them through unnecessary stress.

I would want no other professionals handling my case. I was treated with utmost respect; my case having been handled thoroughly and in an expert manner.

The first meeting with my lawyer I waited over 45 minutes only to sit with him for about ten minutes. The other members of the law office did answer my questions and concerns. But I also was told to take my time in paying my bills but instead they sent nasty letters to me a few weeks after the settlement. So I have very mixed reviews

I am not sure where to begin. The disability process is a horrible thing to go through, especially, while fighting for your life due to a rare cancer and multiple other serious medical issues. I did the initial, reconsideration, and appeal myself. However, if I could go back in time I would have immediately requested that Hankey Law Office handle my case. I was in the middle of chemo and radiation, and dealing with the SS administration was awful. After I was denied my appeal, I met with an intake lawyer with Hankey. She felt they could help me. My case manager Whitney and attorney Corei really fought for me by taking my case "On the Record". Due to the severity of my medical conditions they were able to help me secure a fully favorable decision from an ALJ. Thank you so much Hankey Law Office! Dealing with serious health issues, that compromise your health and ability to work, is hard enough and being poverty stricken because of it makes it even harder. My caseworker, Whitney, has also been really helpful after I won. My case had already been settled. They had already been paid. I had just a few more questions and she took the time to answer them. She totally didn't have to do that! I would highly advise that someone starts with an attorney first. I wish I had!! Put your health first. All the stress of dealing with the Social Security system while I have been going through so many serious medical things did nothing but make me more ill from the stress. I don't know what it is about the SSA but many of my doctors told me that in order to be taken seriously, you need a good attorney's name on your case. I would have never believed this until I walked through it personally. Go to Hankey. They will fight for you!!

They are very professional

I was nervous at first because you always see their commercials, but they are the most warmest kind people. They made my experience very painless and I have faith that they will help me win my case.

We had to use two separate Attorneys due to Court Expertise . Objective with Hankey Law was obtained. But If we needed an Attorney again we immediately would contact Kooi law Firm in Carmel verses Hankey. Smaller Firm more personable and takes time to explain things and return phone calls .

They are all very nice & really listen to you & your concers

Love this practice! Everyone there was great to me. They helped me through the long process of getting disability. They are friendly and are good about answering questions you may have. They return phone calls as needed so you don't worry. Be patient with them and let them do their job.

Pathetic. Anna doesn't do her job. Hanley says all the things I want to hear, Isaac is great, but they LET ME DOWN. Do not recommend.

Hankey Law Firm took my case after reviewing the Administrative Law judge's rejection if my claim for disability. They found errors in the case that the law firm I had overlooked and did not want to review. They took the case on appeal and supported my claim which the Administrative Law Judge agreed made my claim valid. I really appreciate their efforts and direction in succeeding on my claim.

Compassionate, knowledgeable, reliable, experienced, honest, hard-working team of professionals. I’m grateful for these exceptional individuals. From the beginning I was told what to expect. This isn’t a quick or easy process but I do not feel anyone could have made it a better process than the team at Hankey Law Office. The fee, especially given the work on my case, is minimal. There were times I struggled. Sometimes the requests from the SSA seemed overwhelming. When you are suffering and spending most of your days at medical appointments, the last thing you want to do is record every detail. I did as much as I could. Awesome lawyer

I filled out the paperwork they provided. Afterward, a veteran representative from Aspire brought me to the Social Security office to submit more information. Within a month, I was approved by Social Security. The Hanky Law office did nothing for me. No representation, no court hearings or phone calls. In fact, I never heard from them again.
Nonetheless, they were paid by Social Security before I received my first check. They did not deserve payment. Calling the office was unpleasant as I asked how is it they were paid for not representing me. The office women were rude and chuckled while on the phone with me. Their motto really means, "We are here to rip you off."

Great law office

This office was hired back in 2017 for a disability case. In 2019 3 months before my scheduled hearing date this office dropped me at the last second with absolutely no reasoning. They are trying to collect 3600 dollar fee when they dont deserve it as they just leave their clients in the dirt out for dry. I will be contesting the fee they are trying to collect. I recommend the Law Office of Scott D Lewis an Associates. They took me on with less than 2 months before my scheduled hearing date. They saw my disability immediately and won my case for me. I will be advocated for the 6,000 dollars to go to them not this pathetic puke of an office whose just greedy for money, hints to why they are on these extremely early morning talk shows trying to gain clients. Don't fall for an office who will not see the job through. They will leave you in the dirt as quick as they signed you on. Sorry Mr. Hankey I will not contact your office. My case has done been won. Im determined to make sure legally wise you can not collect your fees. Have a good day

My paperwork sat in their office for over a year. Not once did anyone call to ask questions. I didn't meet my attorney until the date of my hearing and then it was for a few minutes. I got there 45-60 minutes beforehand and I didn't get to look over my files before going in, matter of fact, I didn't even know who was handling my case until 2 weeks before.
I couldn't go into the office because I live an hour drive away, I just wished someone could have picked up the phone and kept me in the loop. I just didn't get the professionalism everyone else seemed to have gotten from them.

I started using Hankey Law Office about 4 years ago to get my Social Security Disability. Melissa Davidson and her entire team worked very hard from the start to help me. The team finally after a total of over 5 years waiting I was approved for my Disability. Melissa and they entire Hankey Law Office are great people to work with having this type of case. Won my hearing biggest complaint when I call of course have to leave a message and hope the case manager will call you back concerning any questions!! And would have to call her back again!! This happened before and after the hearing!!! After a few times of that it gets old.

If you need help - Call Them. They are very upfront about if you have a potential case.They explain the time it takes to go through the process and how patient you must be.They let you know costs involved and give you a realistic view on what will happen at the beginning and then all the way to the end. Once my time came, my attorney Ms Marks was very professional. At first I thought everyone was a little cool because it was an emotional time for me, but I realized they needed to keep that step back to give me their best. (And they did give me their best) There really is only one suggestion that I could make and that is better call back response time after a client calls.

I first tried to work with a different office. They were rude, unprofessional, and seemed as though they hated their job. I fired them and contacted Hankey law office. The next day a gentleman named Jacob actually came to my home since I'm homebound and discussed everything in extreme detail, he was compassionate, and very kind. Anna was my case manager. She didn't mind me calling anytime, answered all my questions, even called me for updates! Courtney was my attorney and she was wonderful. She fought hard for my case in court and was very sufficient. Today I found out she won my case! I am beyond blessed. No still nothing on my case

I was denied for benefits. A friend recommended this group to file my reconsideration claim. Found out I was approved and received back pay. From the first day walking in the office the staff has been polite and respectful to my needs. I will Be forever greatful. File for disability back on 2017 due to a debilitating nuerlogical problem. Hankey law firm was able to get me my disability hearing date ut at the same time this law firm decided to drop me with no reason stated. After calling in they informed they dropped be because I wasnt continuing after care treatment. Well it's kinda hard to go when you cant get state insurance or afford insurance. So they felt compelled to release me. Now I am struggling to find a lawyer by August 22 for my up an coming hearing that they claim they do not know about. Do not use this law firm for nothing they will screw you over for sure I guarantee it. Use any other law firm.than this waste of a space of a law firm.... TV show puppets is what they are that's where i found them about 4a.m. one.day. if I could give them a 0 star rating I would
