The appraiser, Sean, from London Castle was VERY unprofessional! He did not return ANY of my calls or emails, EVER, to discuss his appraisal errors. He grossly undervalued my home, which was listed and for sale. This caused our deal to fall through and everyone involved in this transaction undue stress, aggravation, and financial loss. He used old comps (10-13 months old) and did not bother to investigate the recent builder closings in the subdivision, which were more reflective of our value. He also shorted us over 200 square feet, which grossly misrepresented and devalued my clients' home. In addition, we were not given sufficient credit for recent improvements to the property.
