From the start Mr. Rankin has told me that we are going to do what is best for my newborn son and focus on his needs since that is what is important.
That is the philosophy I had going in so it was nice to find a lawyer that cares more about the childs needs rather than the parents needs.
Fighting for your children can turn ugly, but it shouldn't because the only one that sufferers is the child at the end of the day.
Mr. Rankin is helping make it as peaceful of a transition as possible even though that can be difficult sometimes with all of the emotions set up.
I am sure when everything is all said and done it will be what is best for my son and his mother and father will realize what is important here. It's sad that families have to resort to this, but it's nice to know there is someone that can help with this in a peaceful way.

In my divorce I spent over &30,000 and lost everything with this firm! We had no mediation which is required by law and the attorney charged me over $3,000 in a days time to ask the other firms attorneys for advice and nothing else. He told me we were going to lose but he was setting it up for an appeal but later found out it would be well over an additional $30,000 for that to happen! I requested a different judge due to him being biased and the attorney told me if it started looking bad we would request a different one but that never happened . The judge disregarded many laws and some of my rights and the firm didn’t fight for me at all but only worried about me maintaining a certain amount weekly in the retainer account so they could draw from it! Picking them was a huge mistake and now I’m the only one paying the price for the next 6 years! Do research and just know you’ve been warned. Kris Daniels

It was worth my hard earned money, divorce was pretty long but I guess that's the process. However it was worth it.

Stange Law Firm did nothing but misrepresent my case and rewrite petitions that were already filed and had a decision that was made in Sangamon County Family Circuit that affects my sons well being and safety now.
I have a lot of concerns about the way my case was handled by my attorney which I believe to have led to the outcome of the decision that was made.
On February 27, 2018, I hired Stange Law Firm to represent me in the Petition for Rule To Show Cause and Motion to Modify Child Support for which I had previously filed on February 5, 2018, Pro Se. After speaking to Mr. Rankin and Mr. Graham at Stange Law Firm and explaining the case to them they told me that they would be more than willing to help me with my case. I provided them with the following information and complete proof of everything which included Police Reports, Email Correspondence, Text Messages, Pictures, Facebook Posts, etc to support such. I more or less handed them a case on a silver platter all they had to do was call in witnesses to collaborate it all and it should have been a piece of cake. Since they did not call in any witnesses to the collaborate the evidence all of the evidence was considered to be 3rd party allegations and the case was lost. From February 2018 to May 18, 2018 Stange Law Firm was able to charge me $12,000.00 for doing nothing except for rewriting petitions that I already filed but now in their name and that was it!

I got in to talk to an attorney quick, Chauncy Graham, and he understood the problem and started the process to work on the problem fast.

Our attorney, Betsy Wirth, has done a phenomenal job with her representation of us. She has vehemently advocated on our behalf. There is nothing more I can ask her to do for she considers every possibility to help us make the best educational and logical approach.

Case is still pending but Andrew Rankin has been very professional and has instilled a lot of confidence. The online portal is great for easy communication and immediate access to documents. As far as the complaints about hard to use the portal there is a little learning curve but after using it for a bit you can sort by date to help find new documents.

Family Law can sometimes be though. But, this firm is where you should be when it comes down to gaining custody of your children or any family problems.

Very professional and excellent knowlegde of the law is exceptional. They give honest legal advice even if it's not what you want to hear and provide excellent representation.

Andrew Rankin has been very helpful so far, I would highly recommend using him to anyone in this situation. I was getting nowhere in my child custody matter until I retained his services

My lawyer and the people I interacted with were very good. The communication was not great, but that probably had more to do with me living 90 minutes away. My biggest complaint is probably their document system. They keep it all online, which should be a big convenience, but it is not organized very well. The documents are organized by title (unless I missed another way to organize them), so unless you are lucky enough for them to start the title with the date, then you have no way of knowing which are the latest documents. About half of my documents were labeled date first, but they seemed to have gotten much better about the naming about halfway through dealing with them so maybe this is an issue they are aware of and are working on. Still, this document system caused a few problems for me and so I am taking off a star. Other than that they were a good firm that I would recommend to anyone unfortunate enough to need their services.

I have had three different lawyers on my case because of high turn over. And it took a year to settle something out of court. I’m glad we didn’t have to go to court it would probably take more time than it did. The first two lawyer didn’t return my calls or emails my last lawyer
kicked butt and got the job done.

I was represented by Ray Austin of Stange Law for a child support problem I was having with my Exwife. Mr. Austin got a ruling in my favor. Mr. Austin also represented my son for an unfortunate traffic violation and was able g er t another successful ruling. When looking for a lawyer do your research. There are good ones and bad ones. I am glad I used Stange Law.

I think they deleted my actual review of this place I put awhile back... i dont know how.... but somehow they did.... and...that would make their reviews stars incorrect.... and I bet they have had their family give them the 5 stars that they do have bc this firm is not a good firm. Awful! Excessive billing practices, uniformed attorneys, and the attorney did not do the paperwork that he stated he had!! They don't answer phone calls when there are issues!

Horrible. lost what should have been 2 slam dunk cases. Do not use unless you want to loose your case and your money its a scam they have horrible reviews and even disabled reviews on their social media platforms

My attorney was Andrew Rankin. I was going thru a divorce and I hired him to be my attorney. He got me everything I wanted. He listen to me kept me I formed the entire time on everything. Gave me great advice. He even worked with me on payments after we got started. He was well worth the money spent. He's very nice calm and soft spoken. Always made me comfortable. He did a great job. I would leave 0 stars if I could. If you aren't loaded with money and want the money that wasn't spent toward attorney services back (they require a hefty deposit), don't waste your time. After a month of your case being closed they are supposed to send you the remaining money from the deposit. Everytime you call asking where it is, they come up with a different excuse and tell lies that don't match up with what others have said. Terrible crooks! My husband just got back from active duty and we have been relying on our money back and all they can say is that we will get it when we get it and they can't cut us a time frame, after telling us several different excuses beforehand.

Their efforts are much less than their advertisements

Kristin Olson represented me a couple months ago. She did an excellent job!

My case was a retrial and the chips were down for me because my previous lawyer brought forward almost nothing in my defense. No new evidence can be brought forward in a retrial which makes my case MUCH harder to defend considering my original lawyer asked about 4 easy questions and presented no evidence to defend me.

Kristin had her work cut out for her. This was the first time I had to face a judge or a court case. After experiencing how my first lawyer (who I fired) handled my case I was extremely happy how Kristin questioned in order to make sure the judge heard the whole story. It was a relief for me to know that she was going to take what she had, work with it, and make sure as much relevant information was presented to the judge as possible.

Let me just say that I felt like my defense should have been easy from the beginning. This is why I fired my previous lawyer and picked up Kristin. Kristin talked to me prior to my case, my previous lawyer did not. Kristin, made an effort to understand my situation, my previous lawyer did not. I felt like I was in the loop through the whole process, and I did not feel that way with my previous lawyer (for those who are curious, that was Blake Law - I do not recommend Blake - you might be sorry). Kristin used the limited information she was allowed to bring to the court and turned lemons into the sweetest lemonade possible.

Timothy is outstanding perfectionist, he summited a excellent portfolio in court to the judge and district attorney that was well prepared. And was prepared for any counter move the district attorney was trying to make in court. Overall he is wonderful lawyer!
