We are dealing with a personal family legal issue, and I needed a great lawyer in the Springfield, IL area. I know absolutely nobody downstate and found Johnson Law Group via a simple Google search. I loved the reviews and what I was reading on the website.
I was very pleased to speak with Mr. Brendan Bukalski, a partner in the firm. He understands criminal law and knows the court system, the legal process and was extremely patient with me as we talked on the phone.
While I won't go into any of the details on the review, I will say, he is an EXTREMELY competent lawyer. He took the time to speak with me, hear my concerns, and then thoughtfully and patiently responded with recommendations on next steps. I think we must've talked for at least 40 minutes. While there are some steps that need to be taken before I engage him and his firm, I know he will be the guy we'll be working with. He is extremely intelligent and empathetic. He knows his stuff! And he cares.

If I could give this company -5 stars I would. Kevin sanbborn especially he could not get my bond reduced. He could not get my car out of impound. And this case is 41/2 years old !!!! I’ve seen him specifically one time !!!! He sends someone who doesn’t know anything about the case and after he got 7500 out of us he quit my case. Please for the love of god do not use this company !

I assisted a family member with retaining legal counsel with the Johnson Law group. We were able to have our initial meeting in a timely manner and afforded the time and opportunity to discuss our case in detail, which was quite a different experience from what we encountered with other perspective attorneys under consideration for representation.

Brendan was successful in obtaining a non-conviction sentence on a Cannabis offense when the State's Attorney was originally wanting prison.
