Do NOT use this attorney if you are needing a criminal defense lawyer. As he may be competent in DUI/drug cases (I am not sure), he is not a competent lawyer for criminal defense. Not only did we feel lost during the entire time with no communication, when we did speak with him he was very hard to communicate with. We were constantly needing him to rephrase how he was wording something and felt very humiliated every time we were in a meeting with him. He approached us concerning our case and sounded competent in handling our case. We hired him and he did no mitigation to help get us a deferred judgement. He never presented my husband to the prosecutor or have him do anything to help show the prosecutor who he is. The best he could do for us is have my husband become a felon for life, when there is no criminal history and a man of pure honor, integrity, and a veteran. We got a second opinion from Kyle Sawyer from O'Malley Law Office, HIGHLY recommend this attorney. He is extremely competent in criminal cases and man of God. He immediately started having my husband take classes, show his community service hours, have people write letters concerning his character, etc. He was able to renegotiate with the prosecutor and get us a deferred judgement with no felony for life. Needless to say, as he may have special areas he is good at, I would not hire this attorney for any criminal defense cases as he is not competent and will be a complete waste of your time, money, and worst yet, the rest of your life. We can not fathom how life could be different if we wouldn't have fired him and hired Kyle Sawyer. That being said, I only write this review to hopefully help someone in the future who may consider hiring this attorney for any criminal defense cases.

I gave John 5 stars because he made us feel comfortable and informed, our expectations were exceeded throughout the process. The office staff was courteous and professional. When it comes to communication John was always available if we ever had any questions. We were looking at 6 years and the outcome was 3 months, I can't thank John and his staff enough.

John Anderson is amazing. He explains everything clearly. Deb the paralegal is also amazing in returning my calls. Both Deb and Mr. Anderson work as team. The office provides water and coffee which is nice.

Horrible experience with an angry attorney who had no clue how to communicate with me. He mainly told me what he COULDN'T do. He was very intimidating, and it seemed everything i said was ridiculous to him. I truly felt humiliated. He also continued to email me insisting on a final phone call, he stated it was important when I asked what it was regarding and refused to tell me. I made sure I was available for his call (on a Saturday) and never received it. On Monday when I contacted his office he offered no apology, he simply stated, " I got busy with other matters." Very unprofessional in my opinion.
