Mr. Kossen did an excellent job representing me. I felt he was confident, competent, and a hard worker. As every case is unique I don't feel going into more details would be useful to anyone. The 5 stars is for the communication. Everything was clear (I'm no lawyer and was very unfamiliar with the entire process). He had a plan in place and communicated it to me at our first free face to face consultation meeting. As things came up he was responsive to my emails and he communicated changes and updates as they occurred.

Would certainly turn to him again were I to need him.

Michael Kossen is amazing at what he does. I got into a traffic accident in Douglas county and had a mandatory court summons. Unfortunately, the date was a day I couldn't drive to Castle Rock (I live almost four hours away). I hired Michael as my lawyer to represent me. He was so quick, friendly, and professional. Attorney Michael Kossen is the best attorney around. I don’t live in CO anymore but when I did I got into a little trouble and didn’t show up to court because I moved to SC. I got a Dui in Douglas County. After calling a couple other lawyers I decided on Mike Kossen. He treated me respectfully, which is not always how you feel in these types of cases as the courts can be pretty tough. I completed all my requirements for my DUI, and was still on probation. I went to Florida to visit my mom. I borrowed her car and got a ticket for speeding. Under any normal situation it would have been a no biggie, however, I am suppose to have a breathalyzer in my car or my license is not active. Needless to say I got a huge ticket, and a court date for driving without a license. Mike was able to work with the DA and get the charges in Florida dropped! He then proceeded to petition the court for early release from probation. The judge originally said I could be released after 1 year. My probation officer tried after 13 months and I was denied. I got a call from Mike 2 weeks later that I had been granted early release from probation. Its hard when you are in the court system, its not a friendly place to be, and yes sometimes we are making a one time mistake. I would recommend Mike to anyone I know! He kept me sane while going thru this process and he always guided me the best way!

He was up front on our approach and the possible out come. The case was set for trial and Mike showed up ready for action, he had obviously done several hours of pre-prep home work. Most Attorneys are going to show up and just hope to plea bargin your charges down to something of a lesser offense. NOT MIKE, He was ready to DEFEND me. My charges... Speeding 20 miles per hour over, following to closely and unsafe lane change.
