Absolutely phenomenal work done for my family law matters.

I was referred to Plog & Stein by a retired lawyer who had faced Steve Plog in court. That turned out to be a solid recommendation. Plog & Stein has server me well over the years and I personally recommend them to anyone going through a child custody battle.

I would highly recommend Plog and Stein for your family law needs. Their website is user friendly and if you have any questions you can call the office and easily find a knowledgeable person to help you. Making payment was also a simple process.

We worked with Steven Plog for our case. From the get go, his honesty and true compassion for our case, and us as clients, was top notch. He would never push an issue that would just rack up bills that had a high possibility of poor outcome. His knowledge for the law and understanding of the court system made the whole process as painless as possible. We had an attorney prior to hiring Mr. Plog who was dishonest and it felt like they weren't on our side. Mr. Plog helped us cut ties with our previous attorney, clean up the mess they had made with our case and gave us a reason to have trust our attorney again. For the almost four years Mr. Plog has been our attorney, we find comfort in knowing that he is on our side. He treats us like people not a case file. Again, if you have need for family law, I'd say you go with Plog and Stein.

Very very very expensive, very very very little communication. I would look for a different attorney with the outcome we received.

I don't usually take the time to right reviews but choosing a good attorney when you need one is like looking for a needle in a haystack the size of outer space. Fortunately, Steven was a referral from my divorce attorney who retired. I could easily turn this review into something lengthy, but I believe most people are looking for the same aspects in an attorney that I found with Plog & Stein. First, they understand things from OUR perspective. They're listeners and very good at seeing a bigger picture and thus, able to present the right course of action. My time with Steven was ALWAYS productive. If you're looking for a slick shark, he's not your man. The entire process was one of integrity. Do not believe any negative review on this firm. No, good attorneys do not work for free. But peace of mind is priceless. They are VERY good in their field. You may fully trust this review as authentic and 100% accurate. I have been beyond satisfied with the work Plog & Stein has done for me over several years. He then looked at opposing counsel and told him that he highly recommended that they work towards a solution outside of court because he had worked with my attorney many times in the past. In short, the judge then said that he was an excellent attorney and that it would be in his client’s best interest to avoid another court appearance in that matter. We did indeed reach an agreement out of court quickly.

After reading some of the 1 star reviews, it hit a nerve and made me think of all of the people that live for negativity and think the world owes them. Their review does not represent Plog & Stein at all. I went through my divorce with kids and had very limited amount of funds. Stephen took my case and was a great help in showing the courts what a POS ex I had. All of the fees were explained perfectly and he even had his paralegal doing most of the work to keep my out of pocket expenses to a minimum. I'd give less than a star if I could. As others have said, they pretend to care about your case but only want to milk money out of you. They told me they could help with my Colorado PERA account and QDRO for my divorce. NO way, they just sucked $2,000 from me and did NOTHING but push paper around.

Being faced with one of the most stressful and high anxiety situations of my life; contending with divorce and custody issues, was met with such hospitality, professionalism, and ease with the team at Plog and Stein, P.C. Everything from the introductions, to the explanation to the final filing was controlled with absolute respect, privacy, honesty and dignity. I was looking for an attorney to deal with the aftermath of my divorce. The first law firm did a horrible job at representing me. I had found Plog & Stein through a google search. So I set up an initial consult with Mr. Plog and was thoroughly impressed. He took the time to listen and give me honest and straight forward answers. I appreciated that, so I hired the firm. The lawyer that I was placed with was Ms. Jessica Saldin and I could not have been happier. She was extremely professional and personable at the same time. She always took the time to listen to what I had to say and answered any and all questions I had thoroughly. While we were in court she brought all the facts, was extremely well organized and I could not have been happier with her performance. I would recommend this law firm to anyone who has to go through a divorce. One final note. The accountant has been nothing but willing to work with me on payment and the entire office is one of the best law firms I have ever dealt with. A 5 Star law firm in my book!!!

Steve brags about his photo graphic memory, only because he's had to keep track of all of the lies he's told.

Opposing counsel ran circles around this firm, then they refused to return important documents I needed to Appeal my Case.
I was forced to call the police and file a report with Greenwood Village Police.

You've been Warned!

When I was searching for an attorney, the only thing the other firms talked about was how much money it would cost initially. When I called this firm, Plog and Stein, they were not like that at all. They actually listened to what I was saying and I appreciated that. I met with Stephen Plog and he was wonderful. Highly recommend them

I am an attorney, and I needed advice concerning a complex alimony issue after my divorce. I called Plog & Stein upon a referral from another attorney, and they researched, communicated, and advised me quickly, thoughtfully, and skillfully. I am so impressed. I wish I had used this firm for my divorce in the first place. Excellent attorneys, stellar client service, and extraordinarily knowledgeable in this area of law.

Please avoid this law firm. They act like they care about you but they don't. They will slow walk you so they can get more money out of you. Steve Plog will say anything to get you inked and then drop you like a rock. Kurtis, one of the attorney is the same way. Sara is the best at slow walking her clients. It took her 30 minutes to walk from the courthouse to her car and I pod the entire way. She is also very forgetful and every email and call cost you money to remind her. There are much better attorneys out there. Go find them.

Hiring an attorney is never easy and seems even more daunting when you need professional help with a highly emotional matter. I interviewed several attorneys before I found Plog & Stein. I was put in touch with Jessica Bryant (who's been named "Top 10 under 40", though I didn't know it until a day before our hearing.
From the beginning, Jessica let me know that our relocation case had a slim to none chance of having a favorable outcome and managed my expectations throughout the process, which enable me to keep a reasonable perspective.
I was able to count on a timely, thoughtful response to every email question I had. She clearly outlined all of my options and made appropriate recommendations. She would advise me on what I could likely expect with each of my various options and let me know which ones might just be a waste of time and money.
The firm's billing practices are quite clear and there were no surprises. The one time we needed a few days extension of our due date, it was granted.
Our particular case was difficult and complex, a relocation case. Jessica advised us to hire a child and family investigator, at our expense only and it proved to be a stellar recommendation. Our CFI was thorough, deliberate, fair and kept his eye on our child's best interest.
Watching Jessica in the courtroom was beautiful. She obliterated opposing counsel's arguments. Her closing argument was concise, reiterated all of our important positions and shut down the opposing counsel.
Ultimately, we prevailed. I would be writing this review even if we hadn't. This attorney, Jessica Bryant, is without a doubt, amazing and has a stellar career in front of her. We will be forever grateful for the time and effort she put into our case.

Where do I begin? If I could give Stephen Plog more than 5 stars it would be a no-brainer! A divorce is a difficult, soul wrenching experience no matter how ready you may be for it to happen. I went to Stephen after firing my initial divorce attorney because she wasn't enough of a fighter to go up against the hideous woman my ex-husband had hired. The retainer he charged was half as much as my first attorney which eased financial concerns immensely. From the beginning I knew he was the right attorney for the job. With word and deed it was clear Stephen Plog wasn't about the money. He was about doing the right thing for myself and my children. He was always there if I had a question or concern. I felt supported and listened to by an expert in a field that wasn't just a job but a calling.
To this day, 5 years later, no matter what I need involving me and my kids best interest and the interaction with my ex-husband, Stephen Plog has been there like a shining beacon in the midst of my frustration and pain. I am endlessly grateful for the present and future he helped to provide my family. If it wasn't for him my ex-husband would never have done the right thing by his children. This firm and Jessica Bryant caused my simple divorce to span over a year. They charged my children's mother somewhere in excess of 30k dollars. They, at no point, were trying to help move our divorce along, and finalize it. They just fueled the fire and, in the end, dropped out of the divorce before it was finalized because they had wasted so much time and money, my children's mother could no longer afford them. They did not try to help us mediate or split things up. They just looked for ways to stir up a fight and charge more money. If you are looking to stir up a fight and spend a ton of money, use Plog and Stein. If you just want to get a fair divorce, look elsewhere.

I have experienced nothing less that professionalism over the many interactions over the years with Stephen and his office. The firm bent over backwards many times and returned calls when I felt the need was urgent though probably not as urgent as I felt at the time as divorce is very emotional. I cannot recommend Plogg & Stein more highly. If I have any further issues there is NO QUESTION I wouldn't hesitate to rehire them. In fact, I wouldn't bother to call another firm. In addition I found their fees and billings MORE than fair. Hire them immediately if your need fits their practice.

I liked the lawyer that was on my case. I did not like the way the finances are handled. Being told I have like 3 to 4 days to pay a certain amount or I will be dropped as a client. That to me is a threat especially when monies always paid. Client may need a little bit more time. The dates on the letter that goes out gives you less time to get your money in. I was not very pleased with paying for the same thing over and over again and nothing resolved.

When you're going through what you're going through to be at this point, you'll need the compassion, understanding, and strength that this firm provides.

Mr. Plog has been my attorney for over 10 years. I was separated from my husband with a 2 ½ year old son; getting ready to go through one of the most difficult times in my life. I had worked with the firm for over a year now on the matter below and had some suspicion of their financial protocol and billing as being very unusual but paid in full all the time. After many meetings I then I felt fair to officially engage them from there requirement request but was told different form my wife. This was done ONLY do to their knowledge of the circumstance. After the engagement meeting I was told a completely different engagement commitment from prier with less commitment. I was also told they then demanded a cosigner for the engagement. After many cosigners the firm then said they needed the cosigner to have much more cash flow and income.

The fact is THIS FIRM IS ONLY LOOKIN FOR MONEY and will drain you unethically to the bank the facts are what I experienced.

Please if you value your money or are looking for a firm that is in your court for your needs THIS IS NOT THE FIRM!!!

I can't say enough positive things about Plog and Stein. After trying two other firms, I finally found the right fit for my divorce case. I was treated with respect and caring during the process. Most importantly, I found a lawyer with knowledge and brains, who wasn't afraid to fight when things got tough. I was fully satisfiied with Plog and Stein and would refer anyone one to them who needs help with family law.

I just went through a very messy divorce with horrible things being said by my Ex and multiple motions being filed for no reason. Steve Plog represented me and not only did he do a wonderful job representing me but he also helped me control the emotional impact it had on me. I have already referred friends and colleagues to him and I intend to do so in the future.

I would never recommend these people! They charge you as much as they can for anything they can, without even discussing with you what your options are. They did not act as advocates for what I wanted, but tried pushing their own agenda in the court case for my daughter (at my expense!) To top it off, it has taken them 2 months to refund my money and I still have not received a check. They lied saying they called and left me messages, and then when they denied saying that Laura told me it was my responsibility to call them about my money. If I hadn't called then when I did (a month ago), they still wouldn't have even mailed me anything. Horrible service, not worth the money, and even more horrible business practices.

Horrible, would never recommend. They have a lack of knowledge and their billing is excessive to the point of abusive. They make costly mistakes that gravely impact their own clients.
