Mr. Ivey I'd like to recommend that you have someone update your website. It was only after reading all of the google reviews that I learned that I was in the wrong place. "... she is correct that I do not do divorce. In fact I stopped taking divorce cases back in 2010."

I would recommend Marques to anyone who needs help with a criminal issue. He was reasonably priced, professional and empathetic about my crimnal issues. Not only was he a pleasure to work with his office staff was awesome.

He's so busy, I'm afraid that his inmate clients aren't getting the attention that they also need...

Mr. Ivy is scam of a lawyer my boyfriend had paid 4500 up front and he wouldn't even show up to not a single court hearing he always sent his secretary to represent my boyfriend who she only was in training and wasn't knowledgeable to handling such a case at all what so ever the fact of the matter is my boyfriend didn't pay for Jackie Murphy which is whom is the reseponist/trainee representation he paid for Mr Ivy's representation by the time we fired him and hired another lawyer just in enough time before sentencing we had given him a total of $7,000 which was never refunded as requested not only did he not make it to trial but he broke his contract that he and I signed when I paid him for his services not his receptionist services! Which she told me information that was not at all accurate for the best outcome possible for my case. Him and his firm have no nagociation abilities at all what so ever I strongly advise that no one give this man any money for any type of services at all he is a scam artist and not at all a loyal man of his word by far the worst lawyer of all time.

Marques has handled a few cases for my family. Everything from traffic tickets to contract disputes to wills. I have gone to him for the past 8 years with various types of situations. He is very professional and knowledgable. The thing that sticks out most to me is that even if he does not know it, he will either research it or refer you to someone that does know the issue. The only "problem" is that he is busy and it is sometimes hard to get a hold of him, which is why is says email him. That will get quickest response.

I felt compelled to write a review on behalf of Mr. Ivey after seeing the other review. Mr. Ivey helped me through a very personal case. He was very professional, very prompt, and personable. I basically spent a year fighting a pretty hard case. Through out that case, we fought until I was found not guilty. We walked out of that courtroom. I recently contacted Marques Ivey in regards to a divorce. In making a long story short, I was supposed to call with information regarding my husband and his potential legal marriage to another woman. He told me he would tell his receptionist( I think her name is Carol) about me but when I called she didn't know anything about me. I explained to her all the information. She then said she would tell him the information and would call me back. I also mentioned that Marques informed me that he dosen't really do divorces anymore. I then asked her to ask him if he is still willing to take my case. She said she would and call back, I heard nothing. I then left a message saying I no longer wanted their services since I could not get a response from them. I never received an apology! This is poor service and a waste of my time!
