I was the victim of a drunk driver (going the wrong way down 20th, he was speeding while blitzed). I contacted McDivitt since I grew up in Colorado Springs and knew how good they were down there. They have offices in Denver and Aurora and I picked the LoDo office. My assigned attorney, Leah Garrett was so completely professional, courteous, and kind, that I would recommend her (and McDivitt) to anyone I know or trust. She also got me a whopping 50% more than I was expecting in my settlement. The receptionist at the LoDo office is also great (sooo friendly) and she hands out parking vouchers that you can use to park right next door in the garage for free. My original attorney at McDivitt, Tom Dwyer, was also great. (Once things start heading toward litigation without a settlement, the litigator--in my case, Leah--takes over from the settlement specialist--mine was Tom.) They are all very professional and effective; they have earned my respect, gratitude and recommendation.

Hire this firm if you like being ignored having your license suspended by the state when the other driver had no insurance and if you want to have to have a SR22 for the next 3 years lose your job your and your place to live. Cannot get another job due to license wrongfully suspended by the State. I know half of life is being on time and returning phone calls. If you like being in the dark and left in the cold and being ignored this is the firm you want to hire.
I thought this firm was better than this. Rated really well but the performance on this case they are handling is very poor.
Obviously this firm is to busy to handle the cases they have and help their clients. I would not hire this firm due these facts.

I was not overly happy with the final settlement as I felt pressured to take the amount offered by the Defendant. It did not seem that Mr. Kotler wanted to go to court, and given my years of legal experience, I was not going to court with an attorney who didn’t seem to want to advocate very strongly for me. In light of that, I now must live with a permanent injury that I have to pay for myself, less the settlement, if I want to be made whole again.

McDivitt handled everything for me and got me the money that i deserved. They were extremely pleasant to work with and it was so easy on my part. Thank you guys for everything you have done for me. I am forever grateful and appreciate all your hard work!

So the NO CURE NO PAY are not true, if the case take some more time to handle they request money while we agree with % commission when Mc Diviit win's the case Our case are now hanging in their archives awaiting for deposit of a amount Mc Divitt request
So don't promises things that McDivitt can't realize ! Don't say NO CURE NO PAY!

And now, we are at certain point in my case they feel like they can't help me, so he just walked away. And that was per David McDivitt. I just got off the phone with them right now. And pretty much let me go said they were stepping aside because there's nothing they can do for me. Beware, I thought they were on my side the whole time. Guess not!! Well, over a year of wasted time. SMH.

Unfortunately, I did not have the same positive experience the other 12 reviewers. I used their online chat platform and asked if I could know my options as a passenger of a vehicle that was hit, but went unreported. The attendant was very pushy in getting information that one would need to sue the individual.

I am looking to be a decent human being and understand my options to get my injury paid for through the insurance company first and only resort to filing a lawsuit as a last case scenario.

They were too interested in the money and when I wasn't ready to file a lawsuit right then and there, they disconnected the conversation.

I just wanted to feel like my lawyers understood my real concerns.

Great firm. Kristen Becker has been and continues to be so good to me during my case. Throughout my time with Mcdivitt she continues to stand up for me and does whatever she can to fight the insurance company. Her interpersonal skills are 10 stars. I hired Mcdivitt law for a workers compensation case that I had. I have to admit it started off a little rocky at first. I couldn't get in touch with my attorney assigned to the case or his assistant. Neither would call me back even after many phone calls and emails. Lucky for me, I was finally paired up with Kristin Becker who is the work comp manger and Rachel Bentley who is the attorney. Once they were on my case everything went very smooth. Kristin responded to all my phone calls and emails in a very timely manner. Both Kristin and Rachel were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. They made this whole ordeal which dated back to 6/16/14 by the way, much easier for me and did everything they could do within the limits of Colorado's ridiculous work comp laws. I lost my career due to the accident and the way the laws work here are all geared to protecting the companies, not the injured worker. My employer was not responsible by the way. The responsible party was another contractor who never boarded up an elevator shaft to protect from falling. The laws being the way they are Kristin and Rachel were able to get the maximum payout that was allowed under the law. If it wasn't for them I don't know where I would be.

I guess in all you are going to have good and bad apples in every bunch. Fortunately for me I was paired with the right team in the end. That being said I would recommend Mcdivitt Law if you need them to guide you through the work comp nightmare in Colorado.
