In May of 2016 I was unfortunate enough to be given a DUI but I was fortunate enough to have Danny and Charlie recommended to me by a family member's boyfriend. Danny Luneau is in my professional opinion one of the top lawyers in criminal and civil litigation in both Colorado and I would venture to say in the United States! I will tell you this from both a legal and client viewpoint. Most people do not understand how the legal system actually works! I know some of the most expensive top lawyers in the nation and the state of Colorado! However, even a couple of lawyers I personally know do not know what the difference between a good attorney and a bad attorney.
I went to 2 well respected and great attorneys. One I know personally and asked this simple question. What is the difference between a good attorney and a bad attorney. One that I know to be one of the best in the state Colorado stated, "Whether my client is happy or not." That is not a good enough answer when you are possibly looking at a life sentence or a serious felony! The difference between a good attorney and a bad attorney is Preparation! So, I was blown away when I asked Danny Luneau that question. I was facing both civil litigation and criminal complaint of very serious felonious false allegations! I know the justice system and innocent people do go to jail and sometimes are convicted. However, a well prepared attorney will always beat a great attorney any day of the week!

I walked into Danny's office I hadn't slept in days. I had my house taken by someone falsely accusing me of very very serious allegations! Danny I stated I know that you handle a lot of dui cases. However, those require a lot of work, preparation, legal expertise, and being able to not leave a stone unturned... I stated, "I have one question for you? What is the difference between a good attorney and a bad attorney?" without a beat he stated, "Preparation!" Those was his exact words! I jumped up out of my seat! I stated, " You're hired! I do not care if you charge me $100k you are hired!" The other firm told me I was looking at about $185K if it went to trial. Danny stated, "I will take on your case. And it won't cost you anywhere near that." He took on my case for less about 5% of that cost.

Mr. Fife gets it done! I was recently charged in Douglas County by a state trooper for speeding 102 mph in a posted 75. I hired Mr. Fife immediately and upon going to court the D.A. was only offering a 6 point speeding as a plea bargain. Mr. Fife said we should take it to trial which we did and he won. I was acquitted no points, no driving classes, no fines, no jail and no increase in insurance premiums. Everyone says they have a "great" attorney but do you have a winning attorney. I do!

As a OTR truck driver, it can be difficult at times to deal with certain situations. I found myself facing a "Serious violation" on my driving record which can be detrimental to a driver. Best decision I ever made was switching lawyers to Charlie Fife.

I was referred to Charlie by a close friend after hearing my concerns about my existing lawyer. I was charged with a DUI, and although my current lawyer was doing a pretty good job, I didn't want to face a DUI Charge on my record for life, and felt this was likely, with my existing council.

I switched to Charlie and after thorough review of my case and time spent with the DA, including appearing in court with me and on my behalf 5 times, he was able to get a Deferred Judgement and Sentence!
