If you are looking for a tough and stern attorney that knows the rules, Mr. Helmer is your man. I used Mr. Helmer for a very tough case I had to deal with. Mr. Helmer did a great job and we reached the goal we had intended to reach. At the end of our dealings we had a discrepancy in the bill. Dave was more then fair with me and we came to a fair agreement. I paid the bill, we shook hands and that was it. I would use Mr. Helmer again and recommend him.

I would give this office zero stars if it was a possibility! I'm living out of state and needed a legal matter settled in Colorado. I called to set up and consult and see if I would like to work with him and he could take my case. When David called me back he was absolutely hateful and told me he wouldn't discuss anything over the phone unless I was paying him and that "lawyers get paid to answer questions" and that "only cases HE decides to take include free consultations"! Ha! What a joke! I almost instantly found and chose a much better office who spoke with me for more than 3 seconds before demanding payment, who were gracious and kind and didn't try to rob me blind; like I'm positive Mr. Helmer would have done! I wouldn't recommend dealing with such a vile man ever!
