Handled the divorce of two family members. Good job. Is an attorney who is doing his job and representing HIS client to the best of his ability. This is a service we have to pay for when we hire an attorney and it is not free

Told my wife and I he would take our case then withdrew as representation the day before court.
Known Neeley's for a number of years. He's the kind of lawyer you want in the fight. He's determined to to do the best for his clients.

This guy is a complete moron. While he did not represent me he did represent my Ex. I was very lucky that she didn't get someone who knew what they were doing. He gladly took his clients money and tried to imposed a law on our divorce decree that he thought would make me pay for all the transportation cost. Had he actually read the law that he was trying to impose on our decree he would have realized that his client was responsible for all the cost by being the relocated party. The look on his face when this self-represented average joe read the law to the Judge was priceless.

Doug did a great job as my attorney. I let him know exactly what I wanted and that is what he did. I am happy with the service I received. I also appreciated that he did not file unnecessary and costly paperwork. The secretaries were great to work with. They were always available to answer my many questions and get back to me if it was a question for Doug. The bonus was that they always made me laugh and helped to lighten the mood.

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!! After repeatedly refusing to use the CORRECT Email address for contact, he filed to quit the case and blamed us for the horrible contact. Mind you, he never tried to call for contact, would only email the WRONG addresses, and God forbid you call him on it.....then you are being a horrible person and difficult to work with. We consistently got forwarded the documents from the opposing counsel that needed to be answered, and they would be the same questions over and over. We would send our responses, but NEVER got a copy of a filed response. After quitting our case, he apparently gave the courts nothing but the WRONG email addresses that we had repeatedly told him NOT to use, so we were uninformed of a court date. I am currently working to compile the documentation to support multiple issues with this attorney and we will be filing a complaint with the Utah Bar Association for ethics violations.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST LAWYER!!!! I would not recommend this thief to ANYONE for any reason whatsoever infact I would t recommend against it at all costs!! He's a scumbag and not all there in the head! He'll take your money and lie and forge your signature if you try to get it back! He's a huge waste of money and after the fact of paying him everything he requested I ended up having to hire another lawyer to complete my divorce! I can't even put into words how much of waste of money and time he is, if he ever replies back to you or answers your calls! Go somewhere else!

All I can say is RUN... Hands down worst experience I have ever had in my life. My wife filed a protective order on me that was so false and full of lies. We went to court to fight it and Neeley had no intentions whatsoever. He didn't even look at anything all he had in mind was to get home. We never addressed the protective order and he moved right into a temporary order for my divorce. She had previous kids from different dads and we got in front of the judge and he was agreeing to this and that. By the time we walked out of there he had me paying 7500.00 in bills that wasn't even my kids. I honestly have never felt so violated in my life. He created a small thing into a whirlwind of hell for me and I think I pretty much paid him to prosecute me. I'm telling you the truth about everything and then on top of the money I had to pay her he charged me 2855.00. If you want to waste a lot of time and money hire Doug Neeley.

Hiring Doug was the best decision that I made. Doug went to battle for me and my daughter although my case was very complicated and there had been no other case like it in the state of Utah he was determined and always confident never gave up. His office was always there to answer questions, he always came very prepared for our court hearings. Doug is very knowledgeable in Family Law, and in the end the court ruled in our favor. Without Doug Neeley I fear what the outcome would have been. I would recommend Doug Neeley to anyone that needs an Attorney if you want an Attorney that is knowledgeable, determined and willing to fight for you till the end then Doug Neeley is one that I highly recommend because that is exactly what he did for me.

STAY AWAY! This has to be the worst lawyer in town. My ex wife and I are going through a simple divorce that we both agreed on specific terms. We received stipulations about the divorce that we needed to put what we wanted and sign them with a notary. Once we sent those papers back to the lawyer we then received completely different documents then what we wanted. We emailed the lawyer multiple times explaining this. The lawyer emailed us back and asked to hand write our documents with what we wanted! We complained to the lawyers office that if they can't fix the documents that we would find another lawyer. Their response was basically, "ok." We started this basic divorce in December and it's now the mid February.
With this lawyer you can be sure that he has to many cases to properly handle your case. That it will be drawn out mean while asking for more money. That you'll never reach your lawyer but will speak with multiple ladies working there.
This has been such a nightmare that I've considered filling a complaint with the BAR association.

My wife hired Mr. Neeley a few years ago. She has led a very accomplished and honest life. She has a lot of integrity and works hard. She hired Mr. Neeley for a divorce years ago, and he turned out to be one of the most dishonest people she had ever encountered. He basically stole money from her and justified it. He used only about 3-4 hrs. of time in 1 hearing, and just took all $1500 she had paid just to retain him, then he dropped her, because she went into his office to help make photocopies for her hearing, and be of help, so that nothing would be missed, since there was a time constraint. Mr. Neeley is a shyster and shifty character! My wife asked him many times to return her money, since the accounting only showed he used about $600. She had proofs that he overcharged her, but he would not return her money. Instead, he dropped her the night before her most important hearing to get her 7 yr. old son back from a husband who never had custody. She fought for 3 months just to see her son! Her former husband would not even let her have visitation during that time. She is the best mom, and has raised 5 accomplished sons, including 2 Eagle Scouts, 4 sons in college including one going to Dental School. She reminded Mr. Neeley about owing her when seeing him in court on another matter several years later, and he was rude and thoughtless. In fact, he is abusive with how he treats most people. I haven't seen a man marginalize people as he does, but most of all STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN. He is a disgrace to Utah, and especially, the Ephraim-Manti community.
